New Travel Concessions for Family Visa Applicants

This temporary visa concession aims to give consideration and provides additional time to process Family Visa applications that were put on hold due to the border situation brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Under this concession, visa applicants may or may not be in the country during the application process. This is a special exemption, especially for those who are currently residing in Australia.

Applicants of the following visa, are eligible for the Covid-19 Visa Concession: - Partner Visa Subclass 309 - Prospective Marriage Visa Subclass 300 - Dependent Child Visa Subclass 445 - Child Visa Subclass 101

Another concession will also apply to the visa listed below, once the visa is granted the applicant maybe onshore or offshore if all the criteria are met during the Covid-19 travel concession period: - Contributory Parent Visa Subclass 143 - Contributory Parent Visa Subclass 173 - Parent Visa 103

Due to the present situation brought about by the Covid-19 global pandemic, some visa applications are put on hold and travel restrictions are being observed. Please stay tuned for updates as this is an evolving situation.
